I just saw a promo for Sunrise which was exactly the same as last year’s featuring the song Good as Hell by Lizzo. While yes it was good campaign but they should be using something new.

Nat and Matt hosting Fridays looks like succession planning to me. Which is a good thing.
No one is bigger than the show and there will come a day in the next few years when Sam and Kochie retire or move on.

On the topic of the new graphics, I imagine we will see a “launch” promo maybe this week and then new graphics next week?
Seeing as the filming of the promos happened late last week, wouldn’t imagine it’ll be tomorrow.
Or could even be for during / post olympics (if they happen) for all we know!
But will be pleasantly surprised if my guess is wrong 
Will Sunrise be live into Qld tomorrow so they can show Super Bowl live? Or will they cut off the last hour? Or the forts hour of SB on another channel? They’ve been advertising 10am AEDT I think…
Sunrise in Brisbane runs 5:30 - 9:00
Sydney and Melbourne 5:30 - 10:00
Adelaide 5:50 - 9:30
Perth 5:30 - 9:00
I don’t understand why they do this …
Is that a typo, or is it actually starting at 5:50am in Adelaide?

Is it just me or do the graphics on the screens behind them look just like todays on nine, but just horizontal instead of vertical

Sunrise continues to lead the ratings for 2021. Up to the end of the summer ratings period last Friday, Sunrise averaged around 60,000 more viewers than Today. Today and ABC News Breakfast had similar numbers with News Breakfast slightly ahead.
Compared to the equivalent period of 2020, both Sunrise and Today are down 18,000 and 12,000 respectively while News Breakfast is up an average 30,000.
