Weird that once again the weekday EP is out on the road reporting. Six day week for him…poor resourcing from 7.

I think the funniest part about this morning’s show was Sally dancing and singing to Tina Turner’s unearthed song “Hot For You Baby”. Mon’s face was priceless :rofl::rofl:

You’d think they could find someone to cover for the whole weekend. This is the second weekend where they have had different hosts each day.

Does it matter though?

What if Michael Usher was only available for Sunday so they got Liam Tapper on Saturdays instead. What’s wrong with that? Would you rather they drop Musher from both days?

Yes actually

I agree. I would rather consistency too.

It’s nice how Seven’s relationship with Roger Rasheed and Rennae Stubbs (caught her live cross with Monique and Michael this morning on WS) has continued, despite them losing the TA broadcast rights. Dating back to 2006 and 2011 respectively AFAIK. The former doesn’t work for Nine per se, but rather the world feed and the latter didn’t get picked up by either or chose not to, moving to the US and has been working for ESPN.

a little off topic

I’ve always liked Stubbsy and she was a great player, a similar era and passion & mind to people like Darren Cahill and Todd Woodbridge. I also thought she was a better expert commentator than Tracy Austin when she replaced her. However I think a lot of viewers were critical of her and I got the sense she didn’t get along with some of her on-air colleagues, nor did they treat her that well, Sam Smith (now leading at Nine) would always get the booth position and big matches alongside Sandy Roberts and often Stubbsy relegated to the court side position or a pre show analysis.
