On a more serious note, I have noticed lately a lot of those style stories as the last on the opener.
Today, it’s “celebrating Neil Diamond.” Previously it’s been Tina Turner, Elvis Presley, Olivia Newton-John and the like.
Jeez, the edges of that couch are having a terrible time with all the fake tan from the various presenters

It’s interesting that they would be desperate to do this. You would expect it from the host broadcaster.
I never understand why 7’s sets always look so banged up so quickly. Yes all the frequent moving in tight spaces at Martin Place would’ve been a factor, but what’s going on at the new studios?
Or do they just never do any cleaning or maintenance?
Is it just me or does the dark orange colour of the Sunrise graphic feel very off putting? The old ones seemed better imo.
