And the headline is “Dundee Criminal Charges”… inaccurate and deliberately misleading.
Katie Brown’s interviews with athletes and their families have been fantastic! This is what is missing from Today during these Olympics.
Then the conversations between Katie, Beretts and the hosts (Nat and Shirvo/Matt and Mon) have been much more insightful than Karl and Sarah’s effort.
This is what I expected Today to be.
Today in Paris have had the same interviews with Roz Kelly at the pub with the families interviewing etc, and they’ve been really good from what I’ve seen.
I suppose that’s the sort of thing the show has to try to excel at since it doesn’t have the rights. Nine’s coverage has also featured plenty of interviews with families including at the event and with the athlete involved. An of course you can also see interviews with the athletes and watch their performances on Nine, something that Sunrise lacks.
Did we ever find out why Andrew McCormack did sport on Weekend Sunrise that random weekend a few months ago?
It never led to anything. Was very strange.
Could’ve been a test to see how he went, or he was doing some behind the scenes stuff and they just got him to do it.
Watched a great segment this morning discussing the Olympic Games results with Sally Pearson and Mack Horton. With this subject matter and shared experiences, Matt Shirvington really shines. Nat Barr also had some good questions in the discussion. Sunrise way ahead of Today on reviewing the games results even without much actual footage.
Totally agree.
He’s really been dudded by missing out on Olympics coverage. You know he’d have been the face had 7 gotten them.
Still not getting the vertical screen vs background screen graphics right. They need to contrast, not blend.
Sunrise spent a lot of time on Tom Craig early on. That sort of got eclipsed when news cam in of Australia’s 18th gold medal. The show used little or none of Seven’s allocation of video of the games; saving that for news bulletins.
Was Mack Horton on for the Olympics today or just Sally Pearson now?
Just Sally.
