Sunrise (2020-Feb 2025)

That’s an interesting take. I hadn’t considered that.

I don’t think it was a random OB. It was the top story on all the breakfast shows in anticipation for the biggest TV event of the year.

It was rare for Sunrise not to have the whole team at the OB and especially to leave Eddy in studio. I can’t recall the last time that happened. It’s usually Today that splits their team up. Even the musical performance wasn’t on location. If it felt ‘disjointed’, I’d say that’s why.

I agree too, but… Weekend teams.

What’s their chemistry like? :eyes:

The musical performance would’ve been organised for the studio ages ago probably, while the OB would’ve been planned last minute.

Glad to hear a lot of people are enjoying the podcast. As soon as I started listening to it I knew the MS community would find it more interesting than the average Joe!

So there wasn’t any extra coverage from the studio? They just overlayed the Sunrise graphics for what would have been a normal 7 sport feed?

They came back to Monique and Matt just before 11.30 for closing comments.

Font looks larger on the supers today.

No change in size of text but the whole main block has been moved closer to the bottom of the screen with slightly less height to be overall less intrusive.

Monday (L) Tuesday (R)

The biggest change is the increased size of the boxed vision. So overall less graphics clutter with a lessened footprint. Looks much better.

No change in headlines and other graphics
