Will be interesting to see what order. By seniority it should be “Nat and Shirvo” but we all know that sometimes TV is very Male driven. So could still be Shirvo first.

The elongated departure is long gone in media (with maybe some limited exceptions) - two weeks is likely to be the maximum you’d see now (and only for some).
This has shown the importance of a succession strategy (especially given Koch’s tenure) - they’ve laid the groundwork in the past months/years so it shouldn’t come as a great surprise that Shirvo’s the replacement.

With two Matts now hosting Sunrise they’ll be looking for ways to differentiate them - Matt S and Matt D.

“Kyle & Jackie-O”, “Fitzy & Wippa”, “Jonsey & Amanda”.
The idea that you’re likely to be more welcoming to friendly faces when you first wake up, sitting in your PJs.
