They were going to retake Kochie’s blood pressure after it read in at 160/94, which according to Google is Grade 2 Hypertension!
Most likely white coat syndrome.
The interview with Hedda Muskat (former producer on Ellen) was absolutely hilarious!
ICYMI, she didn’t hold back. She said Ellen should work on a farm because she relates better to animals than she does to people! Hedda also questioned who would even care about Ellen anymore.
Michael Pell would’ve been rubbing his hands with glee in the control room.
More of this stuff please Sunrise.
Nat appears to have survived the vaccination yesterday and with Kochi on a pre-arranged business trip, she was joined by Matt at the desk this morning. “Matt and Nat”.
Later
Have they updated the screen behind the desk? it’s been looking a lot brighter/ different lately.
That’s what I thought. Doesn’t look as burnt out.
Mon called Anna Hay ‘Donna Hay’ this morning
Paul Burt made an appearance on Weekend Sunrise this morning from Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, promoting the town making an attempt at a world record for the most people to wear koala ears attached to their hats, to raise funds for the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

More uncontrolled slanderous gossip from a source that is, at best, confusingly unreliable? This isn’t harmless trash television, but rather irresponsible.
With a single google search of her name I found:
-
No evidence to support she ever worked for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, except for her own poorly constructed website and twitter feed. Her IMDB profile doesn’t have the show dates listed. Her linkedin profile doesn’t list the dates or any links. She also has no show-reel of her work. Making it impossible to verify.

~There is no record of her winning the emmys she claims to have won (though I will admit the records are poor). The EDS did win best daytime talk show 2004-07, but they’re for the entire team, not her personally.~ (Edit: She is listed on imdb as a shared producer in the “Awards” section… I’m not sure how that section works, so it could be verification)

She was (apparently) fired from the show 16 years ago, and while it doesn’t negate her personal experience, she couldn’t have witnessed any of the more recent and serious complains of racism, sexism and bullying.
She is bad talent and yet the sunrise producers thought giving her airtime is responsible?
Even if it’s “entertainment”, responsible journalism should still apply… It’s no wonder Australian audiences are turning off.
Are they turning off?
Sunrise have had pretty strong rating recently.
you mean only the metro ratings right. even if you combined both regional and metro sunrise isnt doing as well as it used to anymore. and no wonder a lot of people are now turning to radio then fta for there breakfast hit

I haven’t done a full analysis I’m just basing this off observations.
Sunrise haven’t really skipped a beat since Nat took over and a regularly over 250 metro and sometimes close to 300.
We know FTA is down but sunrise seems to be pretty stable. They would be down year on year - but last year was pandemic, lockdown, BLM.

Please note a correction in my post - though imdb doesn’t list her as a producer, she is listed as sharing Emmy awards with the production team in 2004 and 2005. I’m not sure how the imdb verification works.
I could be just as non-creditable as I claim she is. ![]()
Since leaving Sunrise, I’ve noticed that Sam Armytage no longer follows Nat on Instagram…make of that what you will.
Back on topic, and I think that Nat has done an alright job as co-host of Sunrise in the last couple of months since Sam left, however I still think she works best as newsreader. IMO Nat and Kochie make a boring pair, and it skews old (no agism intended). I really miss Sam’s loveable personality and how she wasn’t afraid to take on the politicians.
how she wasn’t afraid to take on the politicians.
I’d noticed Nat stepping this up a bit of late and being more direct which I like.
Also love Nat’s sense of humour.
Sam Mac will be doing the weather live from Perth tomorrow presenting from the new zipline near Optus Stadium.
Sam’s loveable personality and how she wasn’t afraid to take on the politicians.

I really miss Sam’s relatability, how she never ever complained and they way in which she always ensured fair and balanced coverage and treatment when dealing with both sides of politics.
