Because she has very young children and probably hasn’t wanted to do it before now.
Bianca Stone was back in Brisbane this morning. I wonder what assignment she was up to whilst in the United Kingdom. Apparently she had also been catching up with Nine reporter Ebony Cavallaro, who’s still in London while they (Nine) search for a full-time replacement for Michael Best (a former Seven News Brisbane reporter).
Just a query out of interest.
Is there a particular reason Sunrise doesn’t have their usual clock, weather and news ticker for some of these screencaps? I’ve noticed in a lot of (not all) of these recent screen caps just the “for more news head to > sunrise.com.au” instead of the usual clock, weather and news ticker.
Thanks if anyone knows or has any thoughts .
Might be capped from 7plus?
Anything captured off the website, on 7 plus or any 7 run social media pages has a cover-up on the ticker to promote the website.
I love all of the combinations on Sunrise… all of their fill-in presenters work well, whether it’s the Sam/Nat or Nat/Kochie hosting combo, or Eddy/Angie/Monique on news, Nathan/Ryan on sport, JT on weather, Nelson on entertainment.
Ah that makes sense.
Thanks for that.
Tuesday -
Sam was back co-hosting with Kochie and Nelson Aspen presented Entertainment again this morning.
Wednesday -
Edwina Bartholomew is back in the studio presenting Entertainment this morning.
Is the “ahead” strap I saw this morning new? Before one break (in the 6-6.30 half hour) it looked as though it animated differently, with white text on an orange background. Then just before the 6.30 news it looked like the old one.
Looks good.
Yep, that’s it. Thanks
Friday (24.05.2019): Nat is co-hosting with Sam this morning. Edwina Bartholomew is reading the news and entertainment.
Some food for thought, an all-female Sunrise presenting team would consist of (very unlikely, though) -
- Co-hosts - Samantha Armytage and Natalie Barr
- News and entertainment presenter - Edwina Bartholomew
- Sports presenter - Mel McLaughlin
- Weather presenter - Jane Bunn (from Melbourne)
I noticed this morning that they are using a darker orange/brown tinge for the headlines in the opener also. Very subtle changes (that is obviously the idea).
Sam is on the front cover of the June issue of The Australian Women’s Weekly.
Oh, interesting
Now if they could just tweak the blue font colour in their regular lower third in order to not clash with the orange nearly so much…
