Part One of Married At First Sight’s Reunion Final was Sunday’s top program drawing an amazing 1.894 million national viewers. That was up 80k on last week and compares to the equivalent show in 2024 that had 1.7 Million viewers (on Easter Sunday).

Seven Served up the first part of the Australian Idol Grand Final where the final three performed live to an audience of 1.073 million, a season high for the show. That was up 10k on the previous week and compared to 2024’s episode that had 891k.

An over on 10, Australian Survivor’s penultimate week got underway to 617k, on par with the previous week and up on 2024’s final Sunday that had 595k.

Not to be outdone, ABC produced some great results thanks to Darby and Joan’s second season that continued with just over 600k, down 60k from last Sunday. Unforgotten then had 406k.

The combined audience saw Sundays reach 12.7 million Australians.

Later, 60 Minutes this week dropped 60k to 825k to be narrowly beaten by 7News Spotlight that was up +200k on its previous episode. Matlock was steady for 10 with 247k.

Afternoon sport included NRL featuring the Storm’s big win over Manly (shown on the main channel in Melbourne) up slightly to top 500k.

AFL Afternoon games combined to average 461k. (Separate ratings will be posted later for each game where possible.)

Seven News did well at 6pm to top 1.4 million, its best result for 3 weeks while Nine was just under 1.3 million. Weekend Sunrise maintained a 100k lead of its commercial rival at breakfast.

It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.391 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.295 million - up 6.1% year-on-year. It achieved a BVOD audience of 133,000 - up 29.1% year-on-year.

  • 60 Minutes dominated its timeslot across the 5 City Metro and in the three largest markets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People and all key demographics. It also won its timeslot with People 25-54 and People 16-39 in Adelaide. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.019 million and a Total TV National Audience of 825,000 - up 29.1% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 120,000 - up a massive 50.0% on the same night last year.

  • Sunday Afternoon NRL secured its timeslot across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People and all key demographics. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.425 million and a Total TV National Audience of 512,000 - up 15.6% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 68,000 - up an impressive 54.5% year-on-year

  • Weekend Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV Reach Audience of 780,000 - up 6.5% year-on-year and a Total TV National audience of 311,000 .
