The 1% Club “Babies vs Boomers” episode was Sunday’s top entertainment show with 852k – up 15k week-on-week.
That was ahead of the fifth episode of this season of The Floor that was down 80k to 825k for the lowest ever rating for the franchise.
Meanwhile, it was the start of Family Favourites week on MasterChef Australia featuring Andy Cooks as guest averaging 642k to be even with last Sunday’s episode.
On ABC, The Assembly’s season two second episode featured Claudia Karvan was down 25k to 478k.
60 Minutes later dropped 30k to 646k to be narrowly ahead of 7NEWS Spotlight that picked up 50k to 605k.
Race Across The World’s third episode for 10 picked up some more viewers to be just short of 200k.
ABC’s new Australian comedy Bad Company saw its second episode average 488k, down on the series opener that had 540k though that episode lifted to 875k in 7-day consolidated.
Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators did well for Nine with 463k. 9News Late then had 299k as the series premiere of Seven’s Betrayal double episode had just under 200k.
The afternoon’s AFL saw round 8 conclude with Sydney’s win over Melbourne finish at 6:05pm. The rating of 493k may be adjusted for the overrun. In NRL Sunday Footy the Sharks with had big win over the Tigers to average 457k.
Seven News was number one at 6pm with 1.435m. In Melbourne it had a delayed start thanks to the late-finishing AFL. The bulletin still ran its full one-hour delaying the rest of the night’s line up in Victoria. Nine News, meanwhile had 1.212m.
At breakfast Weekend Sunrise did well with 423k to be well ahead of Weekend Today with 268k and Weekend Breakfast that had 209k.

Interesting to see The 1% Club pull ahead of The Floor. I think Seven needed some consistency with timeslots to help people to find it and stick with it. If they keep it in that Sunday slot every time there’s a better chance of success.
