Nine won Sunday by 10 points. Nine was up by one as Seven dropped three. ABC, 10 and SBS all picked up share this week.

Married At First Sight’s second last commitment ceremony of the series topped 1.9 million for the show’s best result in two weeks. Australian Idol was its closest competitor averaging one million viewers for the second time since the launch episode this season. Meanwhile Australian Survivor on 10, also did well with its highest rating since the season launch on 600k.

ABC’s new Sunday lineup included the premier of season two of Darby And Joan with an impressive 689k. Unforgotten Season 6 then debuted with just under 600k.

Later, 60 Minutes was again dominant with 939k, a four-week high, to be well ahead of The Hunters that improved to 426k this week. Matlock on 10 also lifted to 248k.

The Australian Formula One Race averaged just over one million viewers in preliminary numbers that may be adjusted due to the late finish. The Post Race session went as high as 1.1 million with both entries in the top five for the day. The Pre-race and Race Preview also made the top 30 with the overall results the best ratings in nine years. For comparison, the 2024 race averaged 751k while 2023’s national rating was 698k.

10 News started at 5:22PM with a provisional rating of 614k , likely to be adjusted.

At 6pm the battle between Sven and Nine’s bulletin’s continued with Seven just ahead.

GWS Giants come from behind win inside the final minute saw the Sunday Afternoon AFL average 388k while the one-sided afternoon NRL match on Nine saw the post match only in the top 30 with the game averaging 134k.
