The first Commitment Ceremony for Married At First Sight this season saw another huge audience, number one for the night with 1.973m tuning in. That is up from 1.92 m last year and included the show’s highest overnight BVOD audience ever.
For Seven, Australian Idol’s fifth round of auditions was up slightly despite the competition to 886k. But for 10, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, dropped 60k to 490k to be behind ABC’s Muster Dogs that was down 20k to just over 500k.
The Winter Olympic Games continued including Matt Graham’s bronze medal in the Men’s Dual Moguls. Coverage started on 9Gem moving to Nine’s main channel after the conclusion of Married At First Sight.
That saw the Night Session with the highest rating of 1.44m while the Night 2 session had 1.3m for the top two results so far these Games. The Late session had 661k and the post-midnight Late Extended with almost 330k still watching.
Later on Seven, the special Meghan Effect: Transforming the Royal managed 253k while Dog Park (318k) on ABC and NCIS: Sydney (194k) on 10 missed the top 30 based on reach numbers.
In a big day of sport, the final of the LIV Golf did well with 285k in the afternoon. In prime time, the rain affected T20 International Australia v India as seen on 7Mate managed 102k to just make the top 30.
NRL: Māori All Stars V Indigenous that saw a 16-16 draw had 389k for Nine. That compares to 437k for the 2025 match that was held on a Saturday. Earlier, the Women’s All Stars had 200k.
At 6pm Nine News was 60k ahead of Seven’s bulletin. Weekend Sunrise with 400k stayed ahead of Weekend Today with 297k and Weekend Breakfast with just 169k.
