we only did that when she was hosting for an extended period of time during Sarahās maternity leave.

Cant they PLEASE find a decent fill in? Cannot stand Jo. Iām sure she is a nice person, but something about her just irritates me 
Couldnāt disagree more. Jo is an excellent fill in for Jess and in my opinion should also be used whenever Sarah is away to allow Jess to jump up and host.
Each to their own. She just annoys me - Donāt know why. I would like to see Jess in the host seat occassionally, but @blackbox has his plans and we have really good fill ins for Sarah - Tarsh, Sandra, Anjali and Now Georgia Love.
Also, as someone said earlier Rob, I think it would be a good idea to put Tarsh in the opener when sheās filling in.

Disagree. Jo does an excellent job as a fill in.
Jess in the hostās chair is a bad idea. She provides the point of difference most of the time. Take this away, due to hosting, and you lose an important element of the show.
There are ample people available to fill the hosting role so leave Jess right where she is.

Georgia Love showed potential last Friday but to me it doesnāt really make sense to just put someone new into the chair and expect them to run the show. Outside of Tarsh the fill ins donāt really cut it.
Sandra was terrible recently and would have been much better replaced with either Jo/Carlotta/Robbo and having Jess as anchor.
I like Jo, it is probably her āattitudeā I suppose is the word, that irritates you? And as Jess is a very valuable member of the panel, it is very difficult to replace her.

[/quote] Whilst I would like to see Jess or Ita in the host chair (just probably because I like to see other options), there is a reason Jess Rowe never filled-in as host on Weekend Sunrise and why when Jess audition for Sarahās gig she failed. She is a very opinionated woman and that is what is great about her.
Unfortunately, Tarsh canāt be everywhere!
It was when Sarah was on extended maternity leave, but for 3 weeks Iām not really sure it needs to happen. TBH though I donāt have a very strong opinion on it.

Yeah, itās probably too much mucking around, changing the opening credits. The time and effort can be better spent elsewhere.

She did both Tuesday and Thursday the other week and had no sense of what the show is and how to engage with the rest of the cast. Asking what the āRed-Hot topicsā are about, having no chemistry whatsoever with Joe especially, and just generally treating the show like a news bulletin rather than a panel show.
Jess is a MUCH better option than Sandra if Tarsh is unavailable. Hopefully Georgia does a better job filling in for the summer pre-records.

Obviously the boss, who has seen Jess in the hostās chair, begs to differ.
Great news that, even though Christmas is on a Sunday this year, Studio 10 will continue their tradition of a special Christmas Day show from 9.30am.
