I noticed the change this morning and it sounds so much better in my opinion, the previous music sounded too ominous and eerie before, having the 10 News First branding and music incorporated into the News Updates bring more credibility to the segment.

Inbetween rewatching The Big Bang Theory in its entirety, this morning I momentarily saw an infomercial for a pillow on this show. There was no price, most of the products seem to have no price displayed on this show, which leads me to believe it is overpriced. It would be cheaper to buy a good pillow at the supermarket or department store than get ripped off by watching Studio 10.
Much more energy today from the panellists. For once the discussions had a bit of life so 5 people is definitely better than 4.
I think the show needs a 4th permanent host, and then have KAK/Denise/others to share that 5th seat as they’ll never go full-time. Even though she’s not my favourite personality Cassandra Thorburn certainly adds a lot to discussions and would probably be most open to doing a 5 day week?
And as an aside the best part of Studio 10 is the panel discussions. So why does it seem like there are more and more pre-recorded features or extended interviews each episode rather than more live discussions with the hosts?

There is a decent chunk at 9.30 but they dropped the 8.30 ones in favour of news and infomercials. Defeats the purpose of the show. They definitely need more Hot Topics spread out across the 3 hours.

The 8.30 ones depend on the day. Sometimes there are hot topics straight after news.

I really like Lachlan doing the news. He always picks up on the panel chat before news and comments on it and has good banter with the panel before & after the news. Tarsh is good, but she only interacts at the end of the news.
