They really need the 5th panellists back for it to become a bit more watchable. Regular comedians or younger faces would help lighten the mood considerably.
The show is certainly better having a full set of co-hosts compared to when they were having random guests in the host seats. I still wonder how the show is going to cope with Ang’s travel schedule and the impact it will have on her interviews. I agree, the 5th panelists need to return. And we also need to see Robbo back. He is a part of the team, but has not been on-air in months. Perhaps when Ang is away, he should fill the seat…
Its starting to find itself again…slowly
Apparently he was returning Monday 28th May so if that happened he’s been back for 2 weeks now. It will be interesting to see if he makes any on camera appearances in the near future…
Actually yeah I saw one of these the other week and forgot to mention it, though the broadcast quality of the promo on Ten HD was awful. It looked like it had been uploaded to Tenplay first or something ha.
The Project don’t want to do them any more?
“First place”
Fun opener this morning
Live cross to Hugh Riminton first up after the news headlines also
Today’s Studio Guest is Anthony Callea, whatever that means.
ahhhh I see Sarah Harris channeling some 2005 Sandra Sully on the Late News, legs and all!
Seems the show is gradually re-introducing the 5th panelist, Leah McLeod joins them today.
From next week, the “Get Your Hand on a Grand” competition changes to one call a day for $1000.
Leah McLeod is also going to be joining the show, doing craft segments each Thursday.
On tomorrow’s show there is a grease tribute that looks hilarious based on the promo. It lead to Sarah saying “And I used to be a journalist…”
Does Studio 10 have a wacky zany character who jumps around as the call is made?
Joe?
It’s the cash cashew!
This looks like it will be fun
Filmed at Luna Park on Wednesday afternoon, no David Robinson with the team.Only seen him once with a pre-recorded story in early May.
Scott Tweedie has been doing at least 1 or 2 stories a week.
Jono has been back in recent months doing a fortnightly segment plus the weekly Friday quiz.
Richard Reid with the team he is now on the show a few days a week doing the Showbiz File plus occasional entertainment segments.
Is there any justified logic to doing this Grease themed effort today though? Surely doing it on Friday August 3rd - the 40th anniversary of its Australian release - would seem more appropriate.
From wikipedia:
Grease was originally released to North American theatres on June 16, 1978.
Okay fair enough, I stand corrected but I just feel a local link might have been preferable.
Denise Scott isn’t even there now for the Grease tribute. So often hosts go missing in the final 11am hour and they feel like the show is limping towards the finish line.
A lot of them have other commitments. Denise Scott is doing a comedy show with Judith Lucy at the moment. There’s a show in Wagga Wagga tonight so she might have needed to catch a flight and left early.
The show is too long at three and a half hours.
