Also, the streams open up a *.vbs file which my machine hasn’t associated with any player, so it opens it in Notepad. What are the video player requirements for this? Can’t see where it installed either, both C:\Program Files\Aussie IPTV and C:\Program Files (x86)\Aussie IPTV doesn’t exist.
This version may have fixed the problem, but it might not. I have no Windows 7 computer to test it with. As with the *.vbs files, the are located at C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\AUSIPTV. They should be associated with ‘Windows Based Script Host’ and should have been automatically (it was when I had Win 7). The .vbs files should open an internet explorer window. I believe you need Internet Explorer version 10 or above (or whichever supports HTML5).
Ok, I can see the text now in the home window. I went to the Roaming\AUSIPTV directory and reassociated *.vbs with Script Host and it works. Window size is a little off but otherwise works well. Nicely done!
Some sort of error on Plus7 on the Telstra TV. Any content you play, as soon as it is due to play an ad it just goes right back to the beginning of the episode every time. Had a look on the official Plus7 Facebook page and they said they were going to get someone to look into it.
I know these streams aren’t broadcasting right now, but they still respond to requests. I get a request when using the link above, but 404 if I replace TVQ with any of the TEN call signs.
Streaming on the laptop & just wanted to say, I’m loving it (cue Maccas end jingle). Awesome project. The extra channels are interesting viewing for someone without Foxtel.
Have noticed a couple of channels which have occasional connection issues but that also could be my ADSL1 at only 6MB/s. Going to try out my 4G modem & see how that goes.
West TV, Perth’s community TV station was live streaming a while ago on their website (I think at least last year from memory), apparently it is coming soon again: http://www.wtvperth.com.au/#!livestream/c1kaw. Just thought I’d post it in case you’d like the link for when they’re ready.
Feedback on if they work and/or links to the streams of the Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide & Perth versions of 9Go!, 9Gem and 9Life would be appreciated!
