This seems excessively long to wait
No Time to Die has just been released on DVD and Blu-ray in Australia.
Still seems excessively long. I thought streaming releases were 6-9 months after PVOD.
Hang on, I thought Amazon Prime had MGM content as an add-on extra. Isn’t MGM owned by Amazon?
Amazon's proposed acquisition of MGM not opposed | ACCC.
The ACCC notes that MGM does not have exclusive control of some of its most valuable titles, including the James Bond franchise, which may limit Amazon’s ability to exclusively license these titles to Prime Video. EON Productions, which co-owns the James Bond franchise has stated publicly that it is committed to continue making James Bond films for theatrical audiences.
According to Deadline, 13-episode final season will roll out in two parts, with the first seven episodes launching on April 18 (April 19 in Australia), with the final six episodes to be released on July 11 (July 12 in Australia).
Variety reports new drama The Jump, set at a Sydney suicide cliff, will go into production soon. It will be co-produced by Stan and Fremantle and set to be released in the 2022/23 financial year.
…fascination with the Fox hit musical series Glee.
For The Girl From Plainville, Hulu’s dramatic treatment of the suicide case, getting the rights to feature Glee was “vital” to digging deeper into Michelle Carter’s personality and the chain of events that ultimately led to the death of Conrad Roy, the series’ executive producers said during a TCA panel on Tuesday.
Does Stan get The Girl from Plainville because it is produced by NBC Universal? even though it’s on Hulu and that is why it’s not on Disney + ?
Yep. Hulu still has content (including Originals) produced and distributed from outside studios, and therefore would be subject to their own distribution deals that have nothing to do with Disney.
Premieres 25 April
Billy the Kid follows the outlaw from his humble Irish roots, to his early days as a cowboy and gunslinger in the American frontier, to his pivotal role in the Lincoln County War and beyond. Written and executive produced by Michael Hirst (Vikings), Billy the Kid stars Tom Blyth (The Gilded Age).
Viewers will also meet Jesse Evans (Daniel Webber), another famous outlaw and leader of the Seven Rivers Gang. When they meet, Jesse has already embraced a life of crime: robbing stores and cattle rustling. Billy is attracted to his wild and reckless character and becomes Billy’s doppelganger of sorts — his shadow self, forever inviting him over to the dark side of life.
Other cast include Eileen O’Higgins (Mary Queen of Scots), Dakota Daulby (The Last Victim), Siobhan Williams (Deadly Class) and Chad Rook (Joe Pickett). Executive producing alongside Michael Hirst are Donald De Line for De Line Pictures, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television and Otto Bathurst, and Toby Leslie for One Big Picture. Otto Bathurst (Halo) directed the first two episodes.
You are right. Billions will come back for a seventh season.
Its a great show and has really be refreshed in season 7.
