Itâs clickbait. The council want to build a community and professional sports area (kind of like Casey Fields), and the Victory are merely exploring making the location their training base and having a small stadium for youth and AL Womenâs matches.
The Vuck wonât be leaving AAMI as their home ground anytime soon.
Whatâs with there being temporary crowd control fencing on the field at Accor Stadium instead of advertising boards? This isnât an NPL3 match, this is the World Cup Final venue. (unless this is somehow related to that)

Did you see the crowd control fencing that was around the field where the advertising was not?
Looks to be a green roof and an open air section.
Perhaps more a case of sloppy editing or reporting. Sounds like the toxins there may not be directly from the original site but from others and now linked through the groundwater. ,
Advice to council in 2014 said all the pits, waste and groundwater had become âintimately linkedâ beneath Sunshine Energy Park

That added 350k but it was a combination of things, including the new Dolphins NRL team and a large concert list (eg. Ed Sheeran) for the year. In fact they say it might push 2M by the end of the year given concerts in the pipeline including Paul McCartney and Def Leppard.

Yep so more events than a usual year. They will also have A-League fixtures returning to the stadium this year after the Roar spent the past few years playing out of Kayo Stadium.

Iâve got to wonder why the NSW Government bothered to run a request for submissions if they were always going to name the stand after Freeman?
No question she deserves it and it is a great way to recognise that the stadium was the Olympic Stadium in 2000, but this really feels like they could have just announced the name without the need for a consultation period.
