It doesnt havd to be primetime. After 10 News Late would be fine.
I just find it a bizarre obsession.
No one watches the A-League - fewer still would watch a panel show.

So is this the sports tonight? Or is this in addition to sports tonight? It’s all very confusing. Is sports tonight airing five nights with embedded focus nights or is it just all these different programs now being beaded 10 news presents?
Sports Tonight is embedded for the other Late News broadcasts. This is a special for during the World Cup.

Oh I see. That makes sense then.
We can now speculate as to who 10 will send to the WC to follow the socceroos. I am sure they’re ruing the day they didn’t acquire the rights for this tournament with lots of matches in the day time hours. SBS reportedly making a loss on the $30m rights fee.

Football Tonight? A pleasant surprise. And being promoted to 10’s main channel too? Nice.
Even if it is a special, rather than a series - for the upcoming World Cup.
What’s with the “10 News Presents” title, rather than just having it called “Football Tonight”. or even with a “Sports Tonight presents”?

Late to the news by a few days but what a great idea.
I think in the years Late/ST were combined was a great idea and some really funny moments.
I do think that this is the old logo from 2019 IIRC.
Always have liked their short lived 2010-2012 (if we count their weird amalgamation of Ten News Sports Tonight) package from the graphics to the theme.
Hopefully something unique to set the brand apart but I’m not really holding hope if I’m honest.

I hope they just realised their mistake with the title and integrated it with the existing show.

Yeah this almost certainly will be from that set. Wish it meant they put a desk next to the big screen and had Ursula out of the cupboard for a month but alas.
