Some sad news in horse racing - three-time Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva has died at the age of 26 after a battle with colic.

Are we grtting her stuffed like Phar Lap?

I remember watching that race as an 11-year old me back in 2005. A generational horse and something we will never see again

Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Jamie Melham was named The Advertiser Woman of the Year at a gala event in Adelaide last week. She also won the Woman in Sport award.
