Back in the early 1990s, Southern Cross Television in Tasmania appeared to have a close relationship with Nine. One user has uploaded to YouTube (actually quite a long time ago now) a bunch of promos from that time which show a strong similarity. Day and logo in the same places and animation, but of course redone with Southern Cross’ colours.
