Inspired by the segue from ‘Let It Be’ to ‘Dance Monkey’ on Triple M today (see post).
I think there’s scope for a thread here. Segues are a key part of a radio presenter’s toolkit, and a good (or bad) segue can materially affect listener engagement and enjoyment. I really take notice of well thought out segues. Of course, such radio art is now confined to non-commercial broadcasting, at least in this country.
