Does anyone even watch Sky News weather? I feel as though the concept is vastly outdated, should have been the first to go before Sky Business.

The overnight UK simulcast has begun and from what I can tell SNA’s new watermark is up. You can just see UK’s behind it.
Edit: Hmm, maybe not. The overlapped watermark disappeared after the program ended. The rest of the simulcast looks like a dirty feed.

We’ll probably get our first look at the relaunched Sky News Australia through a locally produced bulletin at 5am AEST with First Edition?
It’s also gonna be interesting to see whether or not there’s a new/refreshed Sky News on WIN logo after less than a year on-air, but that discussion is probably for another thread!

My God. Who actually knew that Sky News was able to create decent graphics.
Relaunch has now taken place FYI.
Can confirm the ugly old ticker has gone. The Opener was great and the graphics are on point

Sky TV NZ ran a long ad break at 7am and missed the switchover/start of the first bulletin under the new look. Hard crashed into the bulletin at three past the hour.
That’s true, I have probably watched the channel for a total of 10 mins in the last 5 years.

I’ve noticed they’ve been doing that for months, when Sky played out all their channels free over summer I watched bits and pieces and ever toth I caught they just crashed in at any old time. Their handling of opts on Sky News has been the worst of all Sky NZ ops for well over ten years.

Has Sky News ever thought of using small letters for the rolling headlines?
Well done to them on the change, they’re nice graphics albeit the font and the strap show box and the serif font doesn’t really suit the font they’ve picked.
