It makes you wonder. Why can’t the pharmaceutical companies produce more? Certain brands seem to always be out of stock.

Talking to a pharmacist during Covid, they were saying that there were always availability issues, Covid brought it to the surface (like it did for the logistics of quite a few industries).
There are (allegedly) a number of reasons for the shortages - including raw material shortages and over-prescription/stockpiling.
