Sure, and I’m supportive of that change, but it’s not monumental, and I reckon anyone who was in power, be it Scomo, Albo, Turnbull, Abbott etc would’ve implemented it.

As for Scomo’s legacy, people will remember him for being a deserter during a bushfire, implementing an illegal scheme that fleeced tens of thousands of people of their money, bringing coal into parliament, having problems with women, someone who secretly held 5 ministerial portfolios undetected, not for ‘revolutionising’ the national anthem.

Us conservatives are sick and tired of our flag always being confused with that of Aotearoa.

Perhaps people would confuse us with our Kiwi brethren less if Aussies weren’t making references to New Zealand in our usernames.

Sidebar: there is no discussion of changing the Australian flag.
