Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell

I didn’t know what to laugh at.

That was hilarious. Shaun played to nobody perfectly, and the episode ended with a nod to his last studio show, playing the Newstopia sting.

Plus the Newstopia-style cold open too!

Agree, it was a great episode.

Has a segment where kids are talking about their parents alcohol consumption aired yet?

What are you banging on about?

Which part are you struggling with?

What segment? What kids? What alcohol consumption? What are you referring to exactly?

A segment for the show was filmed roughly a month ago where a female presenter interviewed a few children and asked them about their parents and if they drink alcohol. All I’m asking is has anyone who watches this program seen it? If no, then it hasn’t aired yet and I haven’t missed it.

Well, we can’t read your mind. The show is topical. They usually film segments n the same week they screen them.

I watch every week but can’t recall such a segment. Did you see the segment filmed or hear about it?

Why do you need to read my mind to answer the question? It wasn’t difficult. You’ve either seen it or you haven’t. You haven’t/ don’t remember. That’s fine. Thank you for answering.

JBar…please stop trying to start arguments or be contrarian in every thread you enter. Sometimes it’s okay not to post.

There are some segments shot well in advance. The ‘coroner’ sketch on this week’s show wasn’t particularly topical (other than the shopping trolley of loose toilet rolls)…

I’ve been in the audience for MAH a few times, and they do show segments for us that may not actually air until weeks later, possibly as filler in case it’s a slower news week.

Following on from previous post:

:rotating_light: Warning SPOILERS

1 April Andy seeks to end a long-running family feud before joining two lovers on a weekend in Wallaroo.

8 April Ellie starts a battle of the sexes when she decides to run for town council but doesn’t count on the rampant misogyny of conservative politics.

15 April Despite being forced by “Scrooge” Ben Weaver to arrest bootlegger Sam Muggins on Christmas Eve, Andy still manages to have the most wonderful Christmas in Mayberry.

Season 11 Final 22 April The citizens of Mayberry are suspicious of a young stranger (Peter Dutton) who seems to know everything about them. When his goons start smashing windows and arresting people, they rise up and vent their anger on social media.

I watched this week’s show tonight and it was obvious that most if not all of pre-recorded skits were shot before the past couple of weeks. Social distancing wouldn’t have allowed most of those skits to have been shot last week and this week.

Great to see Milo Kerrigan back again.
No Michelle Brasier this week though.
