The Seven Network is proud to reveal a market-leading partnership with AdFixus, Australia’s premiere identity platform. Live right now, the partnership provides addressable audiences across all of Seven’s digital properties including 7plus.
AdFixus empowers online businesses to personalise customer experiences and optimise advertising without compromising personal information. Through a privacy-centric identifier, consumers gain control over their data, while businesses benefit from visibility and longevity of their audiences across multiple domains.
For advertisers, the partnership enables the seamless creation and management of unique, integrated cross-platform digital experiences maintaining full addressability, even in a cookie-less environment.
Seven West Media Director of Audience Development and Growth, Andrew Brain, said: “Partnering with an ambitious Australian tech start-up like AdFixus is a fantastic opportunity. We are committed to taking bold steps to enhance our audience proposition and deliver optimal outcomes for our advertising partners.
“With the incorporation of AdFixus’ solution, we can now offer full addressability across our diverse range of digital properties, such as 7plus and 7NEWS.com.au, which will prepare us for any form of signal loss and privacy reform set to land later this year."
Marko Markovic, CEO and founder of AdFixus, said: "Seven’s commitment to delivering privacy-centric addressable audiences aligns perfectly with our mission, and we are thrilled to contribute to their goals. This strategic milestone comes during our most successful year to date.”
Seven is also more exposed than its counterparts to weaker market conditions, with free-to-air television advertising accounting for nearly 90 per cent of its total revenue.
That it’s a terrible program not only with the Bruce Lehrmann scandal which in and of itself is enough for the show to be axed but I think there was another similar unethical example from the past. I never rated the program or the quality of it.
That seems to be your personal opinion. You can’t claim that it’s suffered when it hasn’t. I’m not disagreeing with you about the dramas behind the scenes but to keep it real and factual, no it hasn’t suffered at all.
Wonder if Seven are regretting that NBC-U output including 7Bravo channel and digital 7Plus, poached from Nine in late 2022? That’d be $$$$$$! On top of the new AFL and cricket deals from next year $$$$$$$$$$$.
Seems like these major news division changes, especially (and IMO rather harshly) directed at ATN-7 Sydney is just the tip of the iceberg.
SWM’s inability to properly establish itself as a future proof media business is now catching up with them. The same company that just spent 10 million dollars on an 11% stake in a pet sitting service. Bizzare priorities.
It’s because the heads are old. Old dinosaurs with an inability to think to the future. An old boys club. Hard to feel sorry for them. I mean, a news app in 2024, really? Hilarious. And no paid streaming service/plan for the future. Seven’s motto should be “we’re an bunch of old racist misogynists who will show disdain for the public if they don’t watch our dated schedule”
Genuinely do feel sorry for those lower down who will lose their jobs though
They would at least look at the whole double header on weekend thing? May as well move Tim onto The Latest full time, and have Angela read weekends solo.
Adelaide’s new duo has lead to increased ratings - no way they would remove one or the other (more likely Will), especially while Nine has a duo.
In Melbourne though, they could send Mike Amor back to the US for the election, then just keep him there permanently.
There would be riots on the streets of Queensland if they remove Broughie and his world famous winks, okie dokies, and eyebrow raises.
I imagine most of the redundancies will be off-screen, surely? And those (sadly) made redundant who do work on screen will probably be lower or middle level people.
Great, so the people who remain will have further work piled on them again? No wonder so many experienced and good people have jumped first. No thanks.
