What use is that to anyone? It’s over 20 years old.

Wonder what’s happening in this old space. I assume remaining empty.

As previously posted in the Seven (Southern Cross) thread.

Was it identically to the old Bendigo SCA set?

The person who posted the story is using the set for her TV show. As shown in the other two stories it appears to be a new set.

It’s the same set - they just got it after the Regional VIC news was cut.

I guess it’s good to see it being put to good use rather than being used as firewood.

Not sure if this is just for the YouTube videos, but I’ve noticed that the voice over has dropped “Live from our Seven Tasmania studios”.

Has it changed on air too?

Still said ‘live from’ on tonight’s broadcast.

7 Tasmania have been using some of the 10 News Local journos to cover stories for this week’s bulletins, which is great to see.

Hopefully the bulletin remains in Tasmania.

Absolutely, could surely do with some streamlining, but would be ridiculous to axe local presentation given the viewing figures. Proportionately it outranks the metro stations.

Of course it will. It’s more about putting laws and regulations in place for a distant future.

As others have said, Seven know the value of its local news assets around the country. Look at Seven Queensland and more recently the takeover of Prime/GWN in NSW, Victoria and WA.
