Thanks for clarifying, @DJPizarro
She’s really good, unless they’re recruiting from outside can’t see anybody else would be a good for it.
We have a replacement, and they are very experienced.
oh so not promoting internally? interesting.
Who?
If he knows he’s obviously not going to say until it’s announced, giving out corporate information would get you fired.
If it helps to narrow it down, it’s not me.
I don’t think that was supposed to be public knowledge yet.
You can categorically, one-hundred per cent say it’s not me.
nothing’s out the bag, obviously wouldn’t be very professional to come and blab it here before it’s announced, but I mean hardlt a shock that they’re filling the role.
Surprised if it’s not Brent Costello tbh, now that 9News Tas isn’t going ahead.
I’d be pretty shocked if it was Brent, he seems to have stuck around with WIN through so much change and survived all the cutbacks and I’m sure would have had plenty of opportunities to leave but he’d be a good get. Wonder if Rob Fairs might make a comeback - imagine Kim Millar reading the news, Rob Fairs on sport and Murph on the weather - it would be just like the 90’s and 2000’s all over again! Maybe Peter Gilligan is going to make a comeback.
Not Brent. The new presenter is an unknown name to Tasmanian viewers.
Unknown as in a national name or a completely new name?
Maybe someone from behind the scenes getting their first crack at on camera. Sales Manger by day, Sports Presenter by night.
From what I’ve heard, it’s a journalist from the top end. I’ve never seen his work feature on Melbourne’s news or even heard of him until now, so I doubt viewers in Tasmania would be familiar with him.
First story that I’ve seen from Tom Johnson since his move on the Tassie bulletin tonight. A truck fire in Adelaide big enough to make it to the national news part, good to hear his voice again!
She should have just kept going instead of fumbling like that, bit awkward.
Haha. Not the first time we’ve seen that blank desk. Must be an incorrect macro in the rundown after the live cross to return to Launceston studio instead of Hobart, where Louise is (for those playing at home).
Probably a look-live?
