SCTV Central just aired a 7-branded MKR sneak peek. Not sure if this means anything…
There’s often a lot of 7 things which make through these days so hard to say, unless it was a modified version of a 7 one. Used to be rare for 7 presentation to make it through but now it’s reasonably common.

I’m currently visiting Remote QLD, and have just had my first chance to sit down and watch SCTV via VAST, and in the first ad break, they’ve played the exact same Harvey Norman ad 5 times in a row.
Not selling much advertising space!?!

From what I’ve seen, the ad breaks are just CSA’s.

Yep and not many CSA’s in their library either. It’s unbearable.

The PRG on SCTV Central North was entirely wrong just before when I watched.
While “I Now pronounce you Chuck and Larry” was airing it said “New Series - Dancing with the stars”.

As others have said, programme advertising is all over the place.
Just saw an ad for MKR branded with 7, followed immediately after with an ad for The Theory of Everything with SCTV branding.
SCTV branded ads use the same V/O as 7 but mutes the audio just before the words “on 7” are spoken.
Don’t leave us hanging mate…
Also, when in Jan? Early, mid, end?
Guess they’ve got a fair few people on holidays this week and last, maybe they’re too stretched to adapt the promos.
Nope, it’s fairly standard these days for them to have the mix.
As for when they usually change, I think there’s a few dates, usually it’s just at the 6pm news on the Sunday when ratings begin or it might be before the tennis starts this year or it could be Dec 31st/Jan 1st which I think they’ve also done before too.

Seven was 1st January 2016 for the Current look, started with a Ident after the NYE Freworks.
I have some of the new look to upload but currently away on holidays. Will post when I get back.

The softness of that cap reminds me of KCTV.
With prime now airing HD I think this proves the problem with no Hd at sctv is not at seven. I suspect it’s a financial thing they are probably requesting more for access to it. Pity they haven’t yet sorted this it’s now been upconverted for better part of a year. Thank God for other sources for programming on sctv.
