I wonder when the new on screen presentation for Seven will launch?
Probably at the same time “Open Shop” pops up on the multiplex would be my guess.
Not sure whether we really should be calling it a full On-Air Presentation change though. OK, so the PRGs and watermarks will most likely change with the switch in playout from BCM to NPC but everything else was updated at the start of this year. Knowing Seven, we’ll probably have the current look promos, etc in use (even if they’re not really that much different, compared to the 2016-19 package) for a few years.
The play out of 7 Food Network in Regional QLD appears to have changed over to NPC tonight.
The watermark present is now the one with “Queensland” underneath the channel logo, as was present on the NPC testing streams.
All other 7 channels are still as before, i.e.
“Townsville > 7”
The PRG design on 7Food Network here in Sydney tonight looks similar to the one that we saw on the NPC testing streams - not sure what’s with these black bars to the side of the picture though!
Something to do with the sync pulse of the graphics generator I think
Interesting graphic tonight before The Martian. Said that a show was streaming on 7Plus, followed by Bend It Like Beckham on 7Flix, then a countdown from 5 for the start of The Martian.
Looked quite good graphically, unfortunately couldn’t cap it.
Didn’t Seven trial this in early 2018? End credits split screen with a short promo for something else on another channel, followed by a short promo the succeeding program with a countdown?
Stopped after the Pyeongchang Winter Olynoics or maybe it was the Gold Coast Comm Games I think?
Update - as to @Qwerty’s comment above
Transitions through (8:34pm) with light background music but no V/O
Saw something similar maybe Tuesday night?!
Saw this at the end of a promo for a new season of Towies starting next Tuesday on 7mate.
If this promo was REALLY true, it wouldn’t be SD only and tucked away on Channel 73 now, would it?
Is that how they’re promoting themselves now?
They’ve been using that slogan for many years.
And they’ve been the clear No 1 rating multi-channel for 2 or 3 years now?
I wonder WHY Channel 7 (Sydney) has this show listed with Euro currency on their EPG when Prime7 has it correctly in $ (given its an Australian made show with David Koch involved).
if you enjoyed the original, then you’ll love “How to Make 10,000 Euros in 20 Days”.
Looks like Seven having play-out issues again, positive the PRG didn’t air coming back from a break (middle of program) on The Simpsons on 7mate
Update
Confirmed, no program opening classification warning / “CC” and PRGs whatsoever airing during any episode tonight.
Are other markets the same? What about other channels?
Haven’t seen it like this before. No wonder they’re moving, BCM seems to now be imploding. @WAtvVideos @TV.Cynic
