I always loved this on air presentation from Seven. The round logo and sophistication it had with the gold type colour. Thank you for posting these

The fact that that post came straight after a Full Frontal video is ironic, as Full Frontal did several sketches parodying that video (I remember watching old FF episodes on The Comedy Channel and not understanding the joke…I do now)
Perhaps this could be the solution to Q&A’s ratings woes… have Stan break out the guitar whenever one of the panellists talks to long or starts telling blatant lies.
BTW, welcome to MediaSpy Rhett!
Stan Grant must have been in his late 20s presenting Real Life (a national current affairs show). You would never see that now days.
waves Hello T-Mac. Cheers

I believe there was also a Sydney version.
Was that 1992? I would have thought 1996?
Hmm, it was on a 1992 tape I had, but is the logo more of a mid 90s one?
I’m not 100% sure… but my guess is it’s around 1996/97 going by the graphics and American presenters.
The Sydney version is around somewhere.
Others that have uploaded it on YouTube pinpointed it to 1996… which in that case, probably makes sense that they mentioned the American city names, given they were showing the Atlanta olympics that year, which of course is where CNN’s based. Although the longer version had places outside the US too.
In 1992, they likely would have still been deep into the “nobody knows news/[city name] like Seven” era of promotion.
