Seven On-Air Presentation 1990

Discuss Seven’s on-air presentation here. In 1990, Australia’s Seven Network adopted Glenn Miller’s “In the Mood” as its theme song, which utilised vocal harmonies in the style of the Andrews Sisters and the Puppini Sisters.

That Seven period just before perennial staples in Heelers and All Saints, alongside network identities like Olympics, Winter Olympics, Comm Games and Australian Opens, would dominate the network’s image and conversation for the next 12-15 years.

10 had the youth hits including some very successful US studio relationships.

While similarly Nine dominated, a large part of its success was also hit shows from the US.

Was this the year Seven was in receivership or did that start in '89?

Between this comedy show that I had never heard of, and Funniest Home Videos, I presume both were the last projects Kennedy ever did.
