Interesting seeing a much younger Peter Mitchell exactly 12 years before he was made permanent in his current role. Is that Kate Dunstan that presented Weekends alongside Mitch for a few years during this era? Makes me think that Laura Turner should’ve join Mitch for weeknights a few months back.
I do know that Jennifer Keyte was the sole weeknight presenter until October of 1995 when David Johnston was poached from 10 and the proposal was to have both of them co-presenting from January of 1996 which did not happen. Mind you, Keyte went on to shift to Nine and Johnston presented solo until mid-1999 when Anne Fulwood joined him until just after the Sydney Olympics during October of 2000.
