Jennifer added the interview was filmed today.
I feel like I’m watching a Full Frontal sketch when Gina comes on.
Having everyone at the table at once is unnecessary. The majority aren’t even contributing. And some of these angles are terrible. This perhaps the worst use of Martin Place Ive ever seen.
It looks awful. Also, why on earth are they not social distancing?
Something is off about it. Doesn’t feel live, which contrasts to the hyped-up promo that was airing. Not keen on the set either- I get the concept but it isn’t executed well. Looks like something from 2004.
I think it’s a great production, yeah the angles aren’t great, but I’m fairly confident that Kevin who just lost his job and cannot see how life can facilitate him anymore, would not care. It’s comforting to hear raw words and conversation.
Looks like it was filmed at the Espi. RockWizz anyone?
Any one else watch Denham Hitchcock’s reports tonight?
What a bizarre set and look. Looks like a fortune teller room with purple curtains. Ugly… and strange.
Also not a fan of the setup, looks terrible. Too many people, desk is too small and studio looks creepy with that lighting.

Also, someone pointed this out:
The special got lots of negative reactions on social media last night, mainly about the dark set, no social distancing between panellists, and its pro-jobs agenda.
While the program was definitely one-sided, don’t think it was that much of a surprise since it was being billed as an economy-focused special
I thought the dark, austere set was entirely appropriate considering the subject matter. The success of the show should be measured in whether or not the information provided to viewers was useful.
Who’s the narrator on tonight’s 7NEWS presents?
