Updated to avoid confusion with the Seven News (Regional QLD) thread.
What’s normal anymore really?
It’s great he gets to still do something with national reach while anchoring regional.
Why not combine the topics and have Seven Regional News topic including the QLD news as well? Historically it made sense to have separate topics due to the different ownership, but now it makes sense to have it all combined
Separate operations.
Although they really should function as one. I wonder if they’ll ever align 7QLD and 7NSW?
Probably never as prime tv and sunshine tv are 2 completely different companies owned by the 7 network
It would make sense to have a Seven Regional division where regional QLD and the old Prime and GWN services would sit however.
Are they? or are they just 7 network now?
Like business consolidate all the time. The 5 main networks were all separate once too.
Exactly they are all one company now, they are all own and operated parts of the Seven Network
Two completely different operations would be a better way to put it…
Very different.
i believe, and i may have mis-understood, but i think 7 Regional NSW and QLD at least in advertising are all run out of QLD
They may report into someone in Queensland but i would say the sales staff would all still be based in each of the regions the old Prime/GWN operates in.
A little BTS from Nick: Nick Hose on Instagram: "People have been asking what our set looks like so here’s a quick bts."
Nick is just the complete package. Big things for his future I reckon.
He’s got the looks, the sound, the personality.
I get they operate seperately, but surely it would make sense to align those operations so they they function similarly even though separately.
Best decision from Seven Regional, IMO
You’d think long run they would. Or 7Qld and 7Bris all run as one.
They must be building him up for more. Like he could do Sunrise one day.
No doubt closer integration will happen in time, that’s how the rest of the network operates anyway. Including 7QLD.
yes poor language on my behalf , they report to or are managed by people in QLD
