…this is quite funny as years ago there were specific North / South updates on Southern Cross PLUS local windows during the 6pm news just after the first ad break. This was when presentation was from Launceston though. Obviously the move to Canberra made this logistically harder.

In Canberra, a weather update just aired with Daniel Gibson telling viewers that it’s “octobre”, French for October. Have any other ex-Prime markets got a similar update?

One time I was watching one of his weather updates on Prime7 Gold Coast and he said “Beenleigh sounds like Bing Lee”. Considering there’s no presence of Bing Lee on the entire Gold Coast or Tweed, that reference would have gone over everyone’s head. The old adage is know your audience.

The Regional NSW updates have the updated transitional cards, L3s and the red logo, which has a slight white outline.

He’s not in an area served by a 7NEWS Regional NSW bulletin. These were caps from Facebook, he resides in Sydney. He’ll likely check on 7plus tonight when they are uploaded there. He’ll also check a Wollongong noodle update to see if that has been updated. If so, the Ballarat, Newcastle, Canberra, Bendigo, Mildura and Gippsland ones will be updated too.
But the other 2 screenshots are from Tamworth (New England).
