She’s doing sport as usual

Just on Laura, somewhat unfortunate she couldn’t still be at Nine to send-off long-time close colleagues Clint Stanaway and Livinia Nixon. Turner was there for many years too, must’ve been at least late 2000s? I’m sure they would’ve exchanged messages and will catch-up though.

I wonder if Fergo and Ange will be on Friday to Tuesday this week to coincide with the cricket, like Seven did last year.

Same for today. When will Fergo be back?

Perth reporter Geof Parry is currently in a stint in the US.

Saw a report last night where Sunrise reporter Shaun White was interviewed and labelled ‘Tech Expert’… bit shifty if you ask me.

Has been described as the “Tech Editor” before so it his area of expertise.

It’s like doing a political story and having mark Reilly pop up as ‘political expert’ to give his two cents. It’s lazy.

Don’t you think decades covering politics would make him that too?

Yes but for his employer to interview him as part of a random story would just be lazy, like using Shaun White rather than finding an actual tech expert to comment on a story. 7News reporters interviewing other 7News reporters for stories is lazy.

Weather has been a pissing contest between the networks here for a while now. Funny all that goes out the window when they want to bring in some financial discipline.

Dual presenters, weather/finance/property presenters are all just a luxury these days. Don’t even get me started on that star sign nonsense 7 toyed with.

They now have woken up and understand they need to run a news division like a business. Catching up with the rest of the world. Fools.

To be fair, 10 has had their news running on the smell of an oily rag for a few years now

Network 10 runs on 6x AA batteries but they can no longer afford the lithium kind that lasted better.
