Angela Cox is on the cover of Sydney Weekend magazine inside The Daily Telegraph today (paywall).
The article basically talks about Angela taking up surfing two years ago after the death of her mother.
Angela Cox reveals how she found a new life in the surf after profound loss
Cox is so determined to get better that she’s twice attended surf camps in Indonesia and in September she committed to surfing every day as part of the Make A Wave campaign which raises money for communities in remote surf destinations who struggle with access to healthcare, clean water and food security.
Over summer she plans to use some annual leave to take surf trips to Hawaii and Mexico.

I like it! It’s a nice read and the photo to me is a juxtaposition of her role as a newsreader and passion for surfing, without needlessly sexualising the story with a more revealing swimsuit photo.
The likes of Daily Mail etc would just turn it into a “hot surfer news chick Angela Cox shares her daily surf routine” type slop yarn.
But yes, it strongly channels Tim Bailey and Joel not so Dry

I think there’s enough boobage there to suggest otherwise. 
If you wanted to avoid sexualising her, then she should have been in a wetsuit.
