Seven News Presenters and Reporters

Melbourne has lost all the momentum it built in 2019. The result there this year would be viewed as a disaster internally and that is not exaggerating the state of play.

Given DLS, it’s not exactly gonna look great when the sun is still up.

Very odd to have the national bulletin coming from Perth when Perth don’t receive this bulletin, they get their own one.

Monday: Angie Asmus presenting afternoon news in Sydney

Wtf. Is it Tim or Angie? Conflicting comments!

Maybe Angie is doing a special one just for Sydney because of the coronavirus outbreak, and Tim is presenting for the other states.

I’m in Victoria watching Tim.

(21-24/12/2020) Mark Mooney is presenting the Afternoon News and 6pm news in Adelaide this week.

So it looks like then that:

  • Angie Asimus is presenting a local edition for Sydney
  • Mark Mooney is presenting a local edition for Adelaide
  • Tim McMillan is presenting a national edition for Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth (I reckon Perth will get this national bulletin too because I’ve seen a lot of Perth centric stories during the bulletin).

Anyone record the semi-national edition from Perth?

Like the morning news from Melbourne, it was still controlled from Sydney.

When you have a presenter VO, you don’t need a name super accompanying it.

Didn’t stop either Seven or Nine Sydney doing exactly that (“This is X News with Reader” VO" followed by a super with the presenter’s name just incase we forgot) with their Openers during the 2000s.

Adelaide still does V/O with name accompanied with name super, along with regional Queensland.
