Given he has his stuff on SEN, and does Talking Footy, I think he will keep doing those. Could also be a replacement for anyone who jumps ship to Fox next year.
If he’s not doing Seven’s AFL though, I’d say have a tribute for him on the coverage at some point as well.

When Lyon said his colleague has been in the news recently regarding his future with 7News, Watson indicated he would report on his future when given the OK by his Seven bosses.
If they want co-anchors in Melbourne, I wouldn’t rule out Mitch and Bec reading weeknights, with Bec also doing sport.
What is wrong with Karina? Can she not say good morning at the start of the morning news? Or just refuses to? Surely it doesn’t need to be in the prompter for her to say it.

I watched her present for the first time today and noticed she had a calm vibe about her which i didn’t mind but i’m not sure it really fits the vibe of the bulletin. I also would like to see her read the afternoon news today.

Yes, at least for last week - they usually have a wide shot of the Sydney desk. If they don’t, then it’s likely coming from Melbourne.
No reason why they can’t be doing it from Melbourne, especially when the crew, etc are already there, along with whoever presents the Melbourne 4pm bulletin.
