Yeah you’re probably right - from memory Emily and HSV-7 management didn’t get along after the leaked email scandal.

There’s probably more chance of Peter Mitchell moving to 7NEWS Sydney to anchor the Sydney bulletin!

Wasn’t Emily Angwin a ‘mean girl’ or somehow involved that was happening in the Melbourne newsroom?

Here’s an article on it for people who need a refresher:

I was under the impression that Emily Anguin was actually one of Seven News Melbourne’s better reporters and fill-in presenters before she left.

TipOff summed up the 7 News Melbourne culture very well recently in the content and appearance thread. Nailed it.

Are you referring to Lynne Scrivens as the “mean” one?
Apparently it was said that Emily stood up for many of her colleagues.

From the looks of it, I think she’s happy to be returning back to Melbourne. I’m surprised she didn’t return sooner.

Good to see some diversity on screens. I’m based in Sydney not Brisbane but the reports from her that are shown on the Sydney bulletin have been very good. Maybe a good replacement for Sharyn or Kay should they leave?
