Rebecca Maddern was not on air last week because she was in hospital. Bec told Herald Sun that she had COVID over Christmas, then a secondary chest infection that landed her in a COVID ward for a few days. She only returned to work yesterday.

Emily Angwin former Channel 7 Melbourne Reporter/Presenter has resigned from her job at Al Jazeera TV effective from February. She is moving to the Philippines as a freelancer.
