He has presented Morning News sport before, but he was probably either having the day off or was out shooting a story for the 6pm news.
Alternatively, they could’ve got Jacqui Felgate to do sport.

Well, if Blake is presenting the morning news sport, that does tell you that Jacqui Felgate could be busy/had a day off.
Probably his day off. It happens
Jacqui Felgate is hosting the AFL Grand Final: Brunch tomorrow morning from 10am-11.30am.

Sally Bowrey is back for the Sydney Afternoon News, after Martin Place was setting up for the debate during the Morning News.
It’s not really though…
Andrew Mccormack Presented sport this Afternoon.
Friday 23rd October -
Matt Carmichael presented sport on Sydney’s 4pm and 6pm news.
Big day for the Felgate household. Michael Felgate is a Richmond fan while Jacqueline goes for Geelong - she even showed off the Cats jumper at the end of last night’s Melbourne bulletin.

Are we expecting to see Melbourne’s “A-Team” (Mitch, Tim and Jane) presenting tonight’s Grand Final bulletin?
Usually that is the case, but we’ll see what happens tonight.
Pete and Jane will be in. Not sure with Tim
Saturday (24.10.2020): Max Futcher and Sharyn Ghidella are presenting the Brisbane live from the Gabba tonight in the lead-up to the AFL grand final.
Tony Auden is on weather.
The bulletin had all three of them anyway - caps are in Seven News Content and Appearance.
Probably explains why Tim had Thursday night off - so he could still get his two days off.
Mike Amor may be presenting in Melbourne tonight since we just saw him here in Melbourne as he threw to Dan Andrews press conference. I doubt they’d call him in on his day off just to be on screen for 30 secs before and after the press conference.
I’d say one of two things:
Will just have to wait and see who’s on at 6pm tonight.
They’ve done far too much changes, would be ridiculous to do this once again.
This is the most possible explanation, and would see Mitch have two nights off like usual.
The only other explanation would be Mike being in the newsroom and also outside reporting for a story.
True, they need to decide whether they permanently want a Mon-Fri/Sat-Sun or a Sun-Thu/Fri-Sat split.
It tends to change every 6 months at the start and end of AFL seasons.
