Just had a look on 7plus, and interestingly Paul Burt did weather on the 4pm bulletin, Liz Cantor on the Gold Coast 5:30pm bulletin, and Tony Auden on the 6pm bulletin. Perhaps Tony was called in to cover the Queensland storms or Paul had to leave early.

I’m confused by Jacqui Felgate. What is her role at 7 Melbourne? She’s often on the sports desk. But tonight she read the Gladys story for Melbourne’s bulletin. Seems like they drag her out for the big drama stories.

NRL Grand Final so they gave everyone the night off… including the director it seemed. A few slip ups. Other than that, it was a pretty good bulletin with the two best reporters at the top. Maybe I’ve just forgotten her presenting style but Sam read with far more pace than a lot of the usual BTQ presenters.
