Jane Bunn has returned from holidays today.
30/07/2018:
Angie is also presenting Sydney afternoon news.
Different voiceover was used: This is Seven Afternoon News with Angie Asimus
Somehow I don’t think she’d resonate with Seven’s core audience.
Besides, doesn’t Lee Lin Chin live in Sydney?
Can’t imagine her moving to Melbourne, although I guess far stranger things have happened before…
(30/7/2018) John Riddell is presenting solo in Adelaide tonight.
Lee Lin said in her interview with Sandra Sully last week …
Quote-l would be very happy to read the news on a casual basis in the future if someone were willing to have me.
Mark presenting in Sydney again tonight.
Lee Lin introducing a story on supermarket wars would certainly be interesting…better have a standby available for when she gets up and walks out in disgust halfway through the bulletin.
Tuesday -
Ann Sanders is back presenting Morning News & Sydney Afternoon News.
The first exit to another network under the new owners?
Congratulations to Andrew Denny on his new appointment. There are a few fish in the 7 News Sydney crime reporting pool. Andrew Denny, Natasha Squarey, Robert Ovadia, Laura Banks, Ashlea Brown, Evan Batten and Peter Fegan. Ashlee Mullany was previously in that circle too.
I bet they’ll all be happy about the extra competition.
01/08/2018:
Amelia Broun anchoring Perth’s afternoon news.
Hopefully they’ll use him on newsworthy stories, but Seven are still far from being credible. Their entire newsroom needs an overhaul.
Wednesday -
Jim Wilson presenting sport in Sydney.
Walked past Martin Place tonight to see Jim looking very relaxed in his chair with Fergo I assume whilst an ad was running.
Being from Perth I love seeing this.
Looks like Patrick Condren is doing some freelance work for Seven.
02/08/2018:
Katrina Blowers anchoring Queensland’s afternoon news.
Amelia Broun anchoring Perth’s afternoon news.
Melina Sarris presenting weather in Melbourne.
He never said he was leaving permanently…
