The competition between Seven and Nine weather presenters continued - tonight it was to see who could look the wettest
Not one redeeming feature.
Not really sure what to say about this, other than that it’s from an actual “Special Report” Promo for Monday night’s edition of Seven News Sydney…
Trashy reports like this are the reason that Sydneysiders choose Nine over Seven.
Some say he always remains dry
You’d have thought 7 had learned it’s lesson, but looks like a Sydney-National bulletin is coming up at 4pm.
Good thing being Melbourne gets an extra dose of Ann Sanders. Better than anyone usually at the helm in Melbourne.
I don’t think its that bad, never really understood the point of localised 4PM bulletins apart from WA. A carefully constructed national broadcast like Nines Late News can be just as effective.
I disagree. People are going to be on holidays. No one will be sitting in front of a TV 4pm in summer, especially after the lockdowns and the pandemic.
Audience is always down across summer let alone during the day! People will be out enjoying the weather! This isn’t 1980
Brisbane receiving 7 News Sydney promos in the afternoon news - Mark Ferguson tonight!
In addition to Sharyn & Max who are supposedly still on every night according to the promos, and Tony Auden who’s still the only certified meteorologist on air… surely they could go generic or at least not intentionally mislead
Perth still getting local afternoon news.
Adelaide also got a local bulletin, so therefore only Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane received the national Ann Sanders presented bulletin.
I remember the times BCM accidentally queued up Adelaide news updates for Brisbane TX. Those were the days.
Minor blooper in the national afternoon news today - Ann Sanders was about to say “Live across Sydney”, which is what it probably said in an error in the scripts, but had to quickly change it to “Live across the East Coast.”
