Quite different.
I’m also comfortable with it for the same reasons.
I’ve been trying to visualise in my head how it happened. Not that that is important, but the public is curious.
I was actually very closeby at the time of the incident and didn’t see or hear a thing… until the obvious presence of other choppers etc.
Seven showed more of the video tonight including the impact several times.
Nine also showed the video this time, a clean version without Seven watermark.
I was just coming to comment. It was quite confronting expecting it to cut out like previous times.
They are milking the footage and showing what appears to be the actual impact. And looping it multiple times.
I feel like this sort of stuff should be left to the imagination (for those who want to imagine it).
I wasn’t expecting them to show that much and to include the sound of the impact with glass shattering and a big hole in the cockpit opening up. Also without warning to the viewer. Nine gave a verbal warning before playing the vision tonight.
The ABC have also been broadcast the Seven footage this afternoon.
I appreciated the explanation by the professional about the pilot’s blind spot. Helps explain what may have happened.
Seven gave a warning last night.
At this point I won’t be surprised if the full footage of the crash (the one Nine broadcast on the day of the crash where it was filmed on the ground decently close up) is eventually aired
News delayed in NSW and Vic due the cricket going overtime this time they also included Tasmania in the announcement.
I’ve noticed that this summer. Referencing Tasmania along with VIC and NSW.
There is nothing happening. As I have said several times before the news should be on as scheduled just put it on 7Mate. Australia is in a very dominant position and that is not going to change in 5 overs.
Ah yes, that wonderful time of year again.
Perhaps Seven is trying to make time for all the advertisers that missed out because of rain delays and early finishes.
You don’t renew a cricket deal at 65 million a year to shunt it to a multi-channel on a Saturday.
Most disagree so you can stop saying it.
How many overs left?
The news should continue as scheduled at 6pm as much as possible. The only time the cricket should remain in the main channel is if there is going to be a significant event that may change the outcome of the day. With Australia leading by over 300 runs and South Africa 6/148 that isn’t going to happen. Plus people are capable of changing a channel if they so want to continue watching the cricket.
