You must be nice to be around

Why don’t you complain to HSV7 directly if it bothered you so much? Much like your obsession with long closers.

There’s no need for abrupt rudeness.

I’m sorry, but sometimes there is. I’ve sadly had to put up with so much bullying from the mods on this forum. It’s a disgrace. Hence my comment.

Ps. Happy New Year to all like minded users.

Is it more of a case of the mods are having a harmless joke moment that you are taking it too seriously? I cop a lot of that myself and I laugh along with it. It’s not a big dealio.

Charming. As always.

Year In Review packages in news bulletins are lazy, if not sometimes justified, filler content to pad out bulletins at this time of the year. How many times do we need to see The Slap, Warnie dying, the Queen shuffling off etc, flood damage etc. It’s not new. Give your audience some credit rather than wheeling out a retrospective. If Seven decided they had enough content to fill their bulletin without those YIRs, they should be applauded.

Didn’t Seven News do its year in review segment on Christmas Day this year?

And that uncalled for outburst gets you penalty boxed - happy new year

While earlier updates suggested Samantha Heathwood would be presentintg Seven’s afternoon news from Brisbane, that lastest suggest it will come out of the Gold Coast with Steve Titmus no doubt becasue of the fatal helicopter crash.

Playout errors in the opening big story for Gold Coast News tonight. Not long after it started, the screen goes black and Josh Adsett Jordan Quinn appears on screen looking bewildered before it starts up again.

Fatal helicopter crash. Exclusive written all over vision, not just mindless other angles of the same vision others have, but the moment of impact when four die. Tasteless.

Honestly disgusting. Nine were much more thoughtful. No footage of the collision, plus they weren’t using photos of the victims with other people ID’d this morning either.

I also noticed they broke the news of the UK citizens a whole hour before Sunrise. It seems although Nine have the C-team on-air, they still have more than competent people BTS.

Think you’ll find that’s Jordan Quinn.

12.24 Breaking News: 7Brisbane taking the A/Premier’s press conference re: SeaWorld helicopter tragedy.

12.33 Returned to midday movie

ABC News 24 showed it at 12.38 - labelled Steven Miles as “Deputy Premier”… he’s “Acting Premier” while AP is on a break. Then cut him off at 12.40 saying “we’re having technical difficulties”.

I think either Acting Premier or Deputy Premier can be used in that instance.

Queensland afternoon news again from the Gold Coast with Steve Titmus. Also Sharyn Ghidella is on the Gold Coast- possibly part anchoring the 6pm news later tonight.

Worth noting there is no local news on Nine again this afternoon.

News conference earlier in the afternoon.

Seven continuing to show vision, now zoomed in, slowed down and with emphasis to highlight the moment of collision. Now also tonight animation of the collision.

It could… but later on ABC 24 they referred to him as “Acting Premier”.

Seven Gold Coast and Brisbane spent large parts of their bulletins covering the helicopter crash with Shryn co-anchoring the 6pm bulletin from the Gold Coast.

9 also showed amateur vision up to the second of impact, filmed through a wire fence, but then blurred the front of the helicopter as it was shown being removed from the site??

has 9 news and 7 news gold coast always had discrepancies with the weather? I’m going up there for 4days next week and for next Tuesday there is a 3-degree difference between 9 and 7 news Goldcoast.with so far 9 news being correct and 7 news Goldcoast showing 25 and 9 showing 28
