I doubt it.

The last time the graphics were overhauled was when the date for the 2022 federal election was announced (April 11 from memory).

Before that, the previous major graphics overhaul took place just prior to the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The Great Australian Nightmare

7NEWS investigates the truth behind Australia’s housing crisis

Australia’s housing market is a nightmare the country is yet to wake up from.

Skyrocketing prices, shrinking block sizes and overseas buyers have many Aussies questioning whether we’re really the lucky country after all.

Is there a pathway out? Starting tonight at 6.00pm on Channel 7 and 7plus, an exclusive five-part 7NEWS series will blow the lid on how we got here, what’s to blame, and whether the homeownership dream can become reality again.

Throughout the week, 7NEWS’ expert team of property editors in across the country will talk to everyday Aussies, politicians, and construction industry experts to get to the bottom of The Great Australian Nightmare.

7NEWS National News Desk Director Hugh Whitfeld said: “This series is about Australia’s future. How do we want to live, and how do we see ourselves as a country? Is housing a right or a luxury?

“We’re not just pointing fingers. Our journalists have spoken to some of housing’s brightest minds to find innovative solutions that could help get us out of the mess we’re in.

“Our new 7NEWS National Desk combines the expertise from our team of journalists across every corner of the country, allowing us to get to the heart of important issues like housing, which affect every Australian.

Greens MP Max Chandler-Mather, who features in the investigative series, says: "There’s three key issues of the housing crisis: skyrocketing rents, a decline of home ownership, and a lack of affordable housing.

“You can be on a good income and you can be stuck renting for the rest of your life. I think there is a catastrophe coming down the line here.”

7NEWS ’ expert team of property editors include Angelique Opie in New South Wales, Melina Sarris in Victoria, Anna McGraw in Queensland, Jasmin Teurlings in South Australia, and Alice Murray in Western Australia.

There’s a new radio ad I heard today celebrating Rick and Sue’s longevity:

“Nobody knows News, like Rick and Sue”

And it features the 1999-2004 closer music!

Actual goosebumps listening to it :violin:

Was hoping one of the good Members here is capping it, hoping that is the case tonight :smiling_face_with_tear:

It’ll be on 7Plus though!

I mean if there was ever a use for ‘unstoppable’ it probably is for Rick and Sue lol
